In 2023, Elaine Ewing purchased a set of 56 different negatives, the majority of which were previously unpublished, from the archive of The New York Daily Mirror newspaper. Some of these photos were used in a 1958 article titled, “Stretching Your Way to a Longer Life”. (See the original article below).
Now, for the first time in history, The Pilates History Research Archive™ has made a selection of the outtakes and unpublished negatives from the private collection of Elaine Ewing available to pilates enthusiasts. These images are now in poster form to decorate studio walls across the world!
