Virtual Group Classes FAQs

Do I need classical pilates equipment to take classes?

No, you do not need classical equipment for virtual classes.

Do you offer virtual group classes for beginners?

We do not offer virtual group classes for beginners, but we do offer in-studio private sessions for beginners. This is because it is in our students’ best interest to have a hands-on, in-person experience in our studio setting for the best results possible.

Do I need to be a classical pilates teacher to take virtual classes?

No, but you do need a previous understanding of the classical pilates orders, exercise names, and how to set up your equipment for each exercise so that you can best take part in the flow of class.

How do I sign up for a virtual private session?

You can sign up for virtual sessions online with the Mindbody scheduler on your browser, or use the Rhinebeck Pilates app from your phone or tablet. (Download for Apple | Download for Android)

Once you have created an account or signed in to the scheduler, you will first purchase the type of session you want to take. After you purchase the session type, you can then use the scheduling software to select the date, time, and teacher you would like to book a session with.

If you need assistance in booking your session, please create an account in our mindbody online scheduler first, and then contact the studio so that we can book your session for you using your account on file.

How do I sign up for a virtual private session?

From the Virtual Classes and Schedule tab, and select the title of the class you want to take. You can also select specific dates to see what classes are taking place that day. After you click, “sign up” you will create an account in our Mindbody schedule system, and you will be able to sign up for the class by first either purchasing a single class or package, and then using your purchase to sign up for the class you want.

How does the 10 Pack of 30 Minute Classes work?

The 10 Pack of 30 Minute Classes is a way to take a variety of 30 minute classes weekly without having to purchase single classes or 5 packs of each class. The only 30 minute classes not covered by this package are classes with Sean Gallagher.

What should I do after I purchase a group class package?

Once you purchase a package, you must then go into the schedule and sign yourself up for each class that you want to take. Simply purchasing a package does not automatically put you into the classes you want to take.

What should I do after I purchase a group class package?

All packages have a three-month expiration date. If your package does expire and you still want to use classes, you may contact the studio within one year of the expired package and the money will be placed into your account as credit for any classes at the full rate per class (for three additional months only).

How do class recordings work?

Virtual classes are recorded for those who are not able to attend live. More information here.

Will I get a zoom link before class?

You will NOT receive an email with a Zoom meeting link. All you will need is your instructor’s personal meeting ID number found at the bottom of your confirmation and reminder emails. These personal meeting IDs will never change and can be used anytime you take a class with the same teacher. Learn more about using Zoom below or on the Zoom Information page.
